Now 'Devdas' in English

All you DEVDAS fans, in particular fans of SRK, Madhuri and Ash, have more reasons to rejoice. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period epic DEVDAS might be released at metros of India in English version.

“We've already made two English versions of the film - of 2 hours and 3 hours' duration,” DEVDAS producer Bharat Shah informs me. In fact, the two dubbed versions were ready long back, but Shah didn't release it then. “But I might release the English version now. To start with, we might target the film at the multiplexes in Mumbai and other metros,” the ace financier adds.

Meanwhile, Shah is getting back to film financing in a big way, after a brief hiatus. The soft-spoken financier has tied up with Sohail Khan for two of his productions, MY PUNJABI NIKAAH and FIGHT CLUB. Besides, he's also starting a film with Ramgopal Varma, titled SARKAR.

By the way, the latest on SARKAR is that the film will be made in English version simultaneously and co-star a Hollywood actor as well, according to Shah.
