No sooner we talked of a hat trick by super actor Amitabh Bachchan than came another Bollywood artiste to follow the Big B and completed a hat trick. This artiste is none other than sweet and petite Amrita Rao, who has had three consecutive movies hitting the box office. Her movies are 'Ishq Vishq', ' Masti' and 'Main Hoon Naa'. Despite her hat trick, Amrita has not lost her cool and behaves as before with the producers and the directors. She is being flooded with offers though she is unable to accept all. She declines some offers with all humility at her command. She says she has learnt a lot in every film she acted in.


She has not forgotten that her earlier movie 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh' had not met with such a success though the audience had applauded her role. Her fifth movie 'Deewar' has been recently released. Besides, she is busy at present in 'Life Ho To Aisi' opposite Shahid Kapoor. This is being directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, and would release soon. If Amrita continues to behave as of now, she would definitely reach the pinnacle of her filmi career very soon.

But she should stop doing small movies with the likes of Shahid Kapoor, because after MHN she has really hit the big time. I look forward to seeing her in some more big films with prominent stars, while not sacrificing roles with substance.

Woohooo!! I'm so happy for Amrita! I just love her, she's my fave new heroine and reminds me so much of Kajol... she can be cute, sexy, adorable and act restrained as well as dramatic which is something a lot of the starlets still can't do (or older, more established actresses for that matter).

And I agree with Malfunxion, she shouldn't take roles with zeroes like Shahid Kapoor.. she's a big-time actress now with MHN and Masti and deserves the top roles. I think Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar should start casting her in their films
