Just saw this fearless piece of filmmaking. Just to add a few points about it; it's shocking, affectionately moving, but conclusively a POWERFUL film. The film left many in the theatre inwhich I saw the film into tears of anger. It's certainly a film that EVERYONE should see. I'm sure the likes of von Trier & Jean-Luc Godard will get a kick out of this AMERICAN film. BRAVO! Micheal Moore.

Hope it is a good movie, Micheal Moore (at this moment in time) seems to rabble on about the same issue over and over again.. just hope he has some new shocking facts, like bowling for columbine!!

Faddy, most of the facts in the film can be found from other sources, but don't let that stop you from seeing it. It is a good film, and unfortunately, a very necessary film.

I have only watched 'THE big ONe' a documentry about workers getting laid off. I thought it was pretty interesting. I'm also interested in watching Fahrenheit 9/11. If Jon Stewart taught me anything its that Bush speeches are definitely a source of comedy.

LOL, that's for sure. Too bad DOGVILLE didn't get more of an audience - that and Moore's doc are my two favorites of the year so far. Oh yeah, and ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND too.

Glad you found it as powerful as I did. There was a standing ovation at the end of my screening - the only other time that has happened was at the end of LOTR: ROTK.

Fahrenheit 9/11 also got a standing ovation where I saw it too. BTW, has Dogville gotten a theatrical release yet in North America?

It opened in Dallas quite sometime ago. I'm not sure if it is still playing here.
