Kamal Haasan's next & plans with Mani Rathnam
By Our Correspondent ©2004 Bollyvista.com

Kamal Haasan is back in Chennai for his next film. An old friend, Singeetham Srinivisa Rao, with whom Kamal collaborated on 'Pushpak', 'Michael Madan Kamrajan' and 'Appu Raja', will direct it. When asked about any new project with Mani Rathnam, Kamal says, "Everyone wants it. There is no problem. We will work together as soon as we find the right script. We have to go beyond 'Nayakan'."

It would be great if they worked together again...Nayakan was a quality Indian gangster film (despite its racism towards Maharastrian and Telugu people).

I'll never forgive Firoz Khan for his awful Hindinised version - Dayavan, which missed the whole point of the original screenplay!!!
