'Bardaasht' opens to a 55-60% response, with the action loving centers in the North being better at around 70%.

The response to 'Shaadi Ka Laddoo' is poor with a 20-25% turnout on the 1st day.

Arsh, link please.
I find Boxofficeindia reports most transparent, unbiased and consistent regarding reporting proper numbers.

Bardaasht is an expensive film, a little more than Kismat. Bardaasht opening is much worst than Kismat that flopped. Next week, it will find no viewers as every one will be flocking to see MHN.
In other words, Bardaasht is doomed.

Only hope is, if it picks up by word of mouth publicity (reviews are good), like MBBS. Not likely.

My bad rana!! sorry!!

It LOOKS like ONLY UNFAITHFUL PREVAILING here!

KHAKEE..DEMOTED..AVERAGE

KHNH..SEMI HIT

*** Re MUNNA BHAII..just for those who claimed that this film does not have REPEAT value!! LOL..I watched it 3X already! and Enjoyed it THOROUGHLY!!

BINOD PARDHAN's CINEMATOGRAPHY is AMAZINGLY GOOD!

BTW? Is it BINOD PARDHAN or VV CHOPRA who is SO FOND of KABOOTARS???? as there are so many KABOOTARS used in this film REPEATEDLY!!
Other VV chopra film, I remembered had KABOOTARS was PARINDA!

1942 Love Story/Kareeb/Mission Kashmir? Did those had KABOOTARS too? and White ones? :?:

Munna Bhai, is SIMPLY Clean, family Entertainer, that SIMPLY shows a COMMON MAN PREVAILING..JUST FEEL GOOD FILM..No VULGARITY/NO VOILENCE, NO TRICKS! NO EXPENSIVE SETS/OUT DOOR SHOOTS, no BIKINI CLAD DOCTORS/PROFESSORS...that give SMILES on your FACES!!! and LAUGHS too!!
It HAD A UNIVERSAL MASS APPEAL, a La LAGAAN, IMHO..

MUNNA BHAII RULES!!!
