With Lagaan and DDLJ dvd being released around the same time, one thing that makes me wonder is when and if SRK & Aamir will appear in the same film. The perfect set up would be both off them in a Yashraj film with Kajol. I may be called crazy but I'm always looking for a film where you know the cast and director can sell the film on their own. (Mohabbatein, K3G)

They both did come close in staring together in one of Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming films, which had a script written by Anurag Kashyap (Satya, Kaun, Shool fame). However, the project didn't go through as both stars have different style of working. Aamir was willing to agree with the project if the film would be shot from a start to end basis, and that the director would concentrate on that particular project and no other. Whereas Rajkumar Santoshi had 2 other projects in-mind at the same time (The Legend of Bhagat Singh & Mahabaarat), also knowing Shah Rukh Khan, he does like 3 to 4 different films at the same time, so it would be impossible for him to provide dates for this RKS film which Aamir Khan wants a start to end shooting schedule. Thus, the project never took off because the 2 main stars working tactics clashed.

But rumor has it now that Rajkumar Santoshi is seeking for Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan for the same project.

But coming back to the question posed, I don't think they'll ever appear in a same project. Rajkumar Santoshi/Anurag Kashyap must have come up with a brilliant script just getting the both of them to agree to a same project with equal footage. But another problem in hand occured which i have already discussed. :doze:

I would love to see my two favourite Khan's feature in a film. Just the fact that both are in the film would automatically generate fenzy for the film.

It'd be cool to see all the Khans in one film....Sharukh, Amir, Salman, Saif and Fardeen. What will it be called?

Mansoor Khan originally wanted Shahrukh and Aamir to star in JOSH (2000), but I read somewhere that Aamir didn't want to do the film. I don't know why..

The Role that was offered to Amir was later played by chandrachur, but Amir actually wanted the role of chandrachur brothers role (the tapori one). This was the reason for clash between the director and actor. As they both did not agreed to a point.

Did they both appear together (guest apperances) in Ashutosh Gowarikar's Pehla Nasha?

I hope not Aamir can do alot better than sharing the screen with SRK!
