I wouyld just like to clarify for Pav (and others), in case not familiar with Punjabi spoken language:

Bhaji is spoken as Pa Jee (Bhra Jee or Brother Jee; Jee for respect) in Punjabi.

thats what I thought AT FIRST. Then...I saw one of them "saambaar in a box" or "biryani in a box" type recepie/ingrediants/spices box that said "Pav Bhaji" - "PAV" apparently means BREAD, as it is served with BREAD.

anyway, i know a couple of paki siblings. younger brother calls his older sister "BHAJI"

edit:
I just googled:

Pav Bhaji

Originated by mistake – this preparation has the goodness of mashed vegetables married off with the delicious aromatic gravy. Garnished with coriander, onions and butter, this preparation is perfect if had with pav (thick bread).

the one that came in the box didnt come out that great, but i'm sure the "Pav Bhaji" in India is great

Another variation of Paa Jee as Film Title:

http://www.indiafm.com/scoop/04/apr/280 ... ndex.shtml

Mithun in 'Tusi Great Ho Paazi'

Titled TUSI GREAT HO PAAZI, the film will star Mithun and a British actress in stellar roles. It's for the first time in his career that Mithun will be essaying the role of a Sardar. Talks are on with Pakistani actor Omar Sharif to enact a key role.

With Mithun enacting a full-fledged role of a Sardar and with a title like TUSI GREAT HO PAAZI, you might conclude that it's a Punjabi film. “It's an Hinglish film,” director Rajesh Bhatt puts our doubts to rest.

“TUSI GREAT HO PAAZI revolves around Mithun and his two goals in life - to make it big in London and to wed an English woman,” Bhatt divulges.

“Music director Channi Singh will record the songs shortly and the film will be shot in U.K. from July 1 onwards. S.P. Singh Rana and Imran will jointly produce the film,” Bhatt adds.

--------------------------------

Looking forward to hear Channi's (Alaap) music.
