DEI being less than honest did the logical thing associated with crooks, violated their contractual agreement with EROS. The inevitable then happened, EROS sued the pants off them. Scumbags then declared bankruptcy
You must have an axe to grind against DEI and are saying this.
What I said before, and am repeating here, doesn't come from DEI or from myself, but from one of DEI's competitor:
This is what I heard from one of DEI's competitor/ friend:
DEI kept on pressing DEI-EROS discs claiming that they have the right to do it and the case is with the lawyers(perhaps appeals). But eventually, DEI was too small to keep the fight 'ON' with a Giant and washed their hands declaring bankruptcy.
BTW, I defend only DEI's good work that is Progressive encodings and on good media. Lately they have released a few titles with field averaged encodings and some on time bomb media. I feel cheated on those just like any one else.
But that's the purpose of zulm forums. When you see a good product, spread the word around to benefit others and when you see a bad product, warn others, which I have always done. Declaring all DVDs equally bad or equally good, doesn't help any one.
