Come one guys (and gals) I know this is a lame poll but wanted to take this opportunity to try this new Zulm.net feature.

Personally, if the DVDs were done properly with excellent pq, sound and adequate extras (not promo stuff) I wouldnt mind paying the extra cash.

BTW you need to be logged in, in order to vote

Looks like you need to be logged in, in order to vote, I changed my initial message to reflect it.

Definitely. Media has become the most important criterion for buying DVDs. Nothing can be more annoying, when a program stops playing in the middle.

Something that should be a given, we have to point it out to DVD makers. How sad.

Somehow the message for the poll changed to reflect the freezing, but option cannot be changed.

It says "don't freeze" so that is the part about media.

I don't mind paying a little more for a DVD with a good transfer and good media. But it must have both. No use getting a good looking DVD that will freeze halfway through the film, but a crummy transfer that will last forever is equally useless. I don't care about extras if it is a $10 DVD, but if they're charging $20, it should have some extra value.

For me transfer quality and sound quality comes first. So I don't mind paying extra for a good quality dvd. And no freakin' logos and unskippable basmati ads on the dvd either. :!: :baaa:

Vow.
There is one vote indicating unwillingness to pay even a sigle cent extra for a properly mastered DVD, that dont freeze, uses good media and had good extras?

Any one stuck with freezing DVDs. You got a customer. :D
