Except for one Biswajeet shot, PQ looks fine to me. How often is this blur?? Not often. BTW, any guess, why this blur??
Yes there are a few frames with lots of dro-outs, but that's the way film print might have been.

It's as sharp as it should be for a Film DVD. Colors are a bit off, but that can easily be corrected with minor adjustment on the display.

It's Progressive. Has High bit rate.

Isn't that how all old films end up?? Some sooner, some later, depending on how well the prints/ negatives are stored/ preserved??

Film will always have motion blur, but DNR blur is a different thing of course. That shot is DNR blurred because the image sort of breaks up; you can see a faint line in the middle of Biswajeet's forehead as well as a light double image of his nose.

Very good observation Dragun! :D I am little puzzled reading from the other thread it was mentioned that this print was bad, but from the screen caps provided there is not much evidence of that. What is evident is fading and minor blemishes. The print reflects dirt. Still something is missing here, I was expecting to see heavy wear and speckles thats associated with a bad print. The lack of such features may suggest that the screen caps provided is deliberately selected to further one's cause. In this case that this a standard BEI transfer as in the old days. :D
