1.) Approx 100$ + per month here also (from Indiaweekly and Cnl.com - for english Dvds... maybe once in a while I may pick up a good deal at Blockbuster )

2.) Hmmm English+Hindi+telugu+Tamil approx 250+

3.) I just lend my Dvds to just 2 prominent ppl (my friends here)..With one I had once upon a time 40+ Dvds at one time. However I am assured cos I have an understanding with them. My DVDs do onot go out of their homes and they retun the DVds to me in exactly the same condition. They have done it and hence I trust them with my DVDs...However I have one guy who borrows from me DVds and he is a leecher, but luckily he takes good care of them.

4.) Faddy no questions I will get pissed off also if they take my stuff (not only DVds) without asking me !

Not as impressive as you guys, but here goes..........

I spend anywhere from £50 to £150 a month, really depending on the new releases.

I have 165 DVDs at the moment

Luckily, none of my discs have gone AWOL yet, but that's because I on;y lend DVDs to my two closest friends, and don't let anyone else in my room, so they don't get access to my DVDs, hence can't take any!!

I don't really care if people call me tight or stingy or whatever, it's my hard earned cash that I'm spending, and I'm the only one that has a right on it!!

How much I spend a month, too much...

I have about 950 (English, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu)

And I hate lending out my dvds because my cousins etc. don't keep them in good shape, I do let a few close freinds I trust borrow them...

* How much do you guys spend on DVDs per month!

Too much. Never accounted for it but at one point used to buy all the new releases - no matter what. Have cut down buying big time now - actually only really get new Indian films at the moment. Last R1 release I got was Swordfish and Godfather collection. No new films on DVD coming out appeals to me or just don’t have the time to watch them.

* How many discs do you have in your collection!

Lost count, but I think it must be around about 500 now - about which 50% have never been watched by me :0

* How many discs of yours have gone AWOL!

Too many, but don’t give a shit at the moment. Trying to keep track of these DVDs is full time job which I can’t be bothered with

* Finally, who gets pissed of when people "borrow" 5+ of your DVDs without asking....

I never get pissed off when people borrow DVDs; asking or otherwise, to me it’s simply a thing that’s not worth getting pissed over. Depends how possessive you are about DVDs. DVD players are common thing in homes now (talking UK) but most don’t buy DVDs and watch them from borrowing and renting from shops. I would say that other people get more pissed than me about borrowing MY DVDs!
