Once the required files for DVD are authored in either mpeg format or proper VOB's/IFO's then its simple, just drag the files over to the VIDEO_TS folder and burn away.

Depends on how much the DVD has rotted, I tried backing up Kurukshetra but wasnt able to, the DVD Rom or DVD Writer refused to read that portion of the DVD that was rotted (which caused the freeezing).
