Hi zulmies,
Recently my friend bought a toshiba laptop having a dvd burner and the default software for burning dvd was nero. I have never burned any dvd, but after looking at the crap media's that the companies are using I am thinking to burn the dvds. So here's my questions
1. Does burning dvd with nero is as easy as making vcd. (I burnt some cds using this software before)
2. I have some dvds which got freezed, so can I still be able to copy those dvds without loosing any information.
3. Never bought any blank dvds, so need some information on that, like whether I need two or one dvd to burn a hindi movie, as each of the dvds that I saw in walmart had storage capacity of 4.7gb.
So guys I need all the good advice
:) you can provide me in burning a dvd successfully.

Once the required files for DVD are authored in either mpeg format or proper VOB's/IFO's then its simple, just drag the files over to the VIDEO_TS folder and burn away.

Depends on how much the DVD has rotted, I tried backing up Kurukshetra but wasnt able to, the DVD Rom or DVD Writer refused to read that portion of the DVD that was rotted (which caused the freeezing).

Check the below link for reference to DVD Shrink and DVD2One which bring the total size of the original DVD down to 4.7gb so that it can be copied to a DVD+/-R/RW.
