i think sknath shot off his mouth more than necessary....i dont really miss him, cause half the time he was more interested in 'hearing' his own voice than anybody else's opinion......

I don't think, sknath was banned. May be Ali can vrerify that. He did mention in one of his posts that he was loosing interest in forums as well as he will be too busy with his thesis.

I do agree, sknath did contribute a lot on DVD quality issues.

Ganti was another one, who left for lack of support on his views about 'Progessive DVDs'. Out of the original supporters of 'Progressive encodings' (Ganti, sknath and me), I think, I'm the only one left.

As far as I can recall from startup of zulm I've only ever banned one person's IP from zulm - it's wasn't the aforementioned mr nath :sus: (neither was it of any other person mentioned on this thread)

It's comforting to know that he is not banned. Though he can be a pain sometimes, he is fun to have around, some of his controvercial posts helps to brake up the monotony of things here. Just wish his status can be changed back to member! :D

I think rana no one on the forum is against progressive dvds....it is just that Indian dvds have become from bad to worse in quality especially after DEi's death. Even I have lost interest, but I do visit for old time sake.
