Basically just replicate the KMG review by MHafner and add a director's commentary and some other better extras. The PQ and sound is basically the same.

Exactly! This is one reason I can't be bothered with Indian DVDs reviews, you are constantly repeating yourself over and over and again. There's only so many ways you can say the DVD is crap

With all the DVDs released in the last year or so of new movies I would say Hawayein would be the only DVD I would consider giving over 7 or more out of 10. Rest would be 6 or under. Khakee DVD would struggle to get a 5. KHNH maybe a 6.5.

Only other hope for Indian DVDs is ‘outsiders’ doing the DVD – like Kaante, Boom and Out of Control by Ventura/Win Media. Lets hope these turn out better, otherwise that hope is lost too…

Faddy, you never noticed how Yoda talks? He talks in a backwards manner, like "waste of time the reviews are" :)

I finally saw Kal Ho Naa Ho last night and finished it this morning. I must say that I absolutely loved it. The performances were fantastic, the storyline was great, and, as is sadly rare in Bollywood, the characters were so real and three-dimensional.

There were some very light moments in the film and those were well-done. I was laughing at the funny parts, my favorites being moments between Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan. The emotional parts were also well-done and I almost came slightly close to crying (which, if you know me, is rare). I honestly was taken aback at some moments and both SRK and Saif truly impressed me.

I was also rather surprised at the ending of the film being so melodramatic. It seems rare, especially in a Yash Raj films production.

So, overall, a truly great film and I'm rather upset that I never saw it in theatres. I am also disappointed that I can never see it again for the first time.
