2003 'Filmfare’ technical awards

Tenth ‘Filmfare’ technical awards announced
[TIMES NEWS NETWORK ]

Mumbai: Bhoot and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. have scored a double in the technical section of the 49 th Manikchand Filmfare Awards. The Technical Awards were announced here on Tuesday. The event will be held in Mumbai this Saturday.

While Bhoot got Dwarak Warrier and Shimit Amin the awards for Best Sound and Best Editing respectively, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. won the Best Dialogue Award for Abbas Tyrewala and Best Screenplay Award for Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Lajan Joseph.

Other awards announced were Aseem Bajaj—Best Cinematography for Chameli , Munish Sappal—Best Art Direction for Pinjar , Allan Amin—Best Action for Qayamat, Nagesh Kukunoor — Best Story for 3 Deewarein , and Wayne Sharp—Best Background Score for Gangaajal.

The event will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on February 21 from 9 p.m. onwards.
