IMO Suniel Shetty iz gonna be AWESOME in this flick as a terrorist of sorts..the role was written with Kamal Hassan in mind & was later offeered to Sunny Deol!!!

Lets see how it turns out..my hype for this flick is minimal

Hrithik was a part of Main Hoon Naa

Here's something that will surely take you by surprise. Hrithik Roshan was once a part of the Main Hoon Naa cast. And guess what, he even shot for a day for the film. The character Hrithik was to play in the film was that of Shahrukh Khan's younger brother. But things didn't materialize later on and eventually the role went over to his brother-in-law Zayed Khan.

Incidentally, actor Sohail Khan and Dil Chahta Hai director Farhan Akhtar were also considered for the role.

Moreover if the buzz is to be believed, Farah Khan's close buddy – director Karan Johar, will also make an appearance in the film, though his part is said to be a blink-it-and-disappear role.

*** My 2 cents!! album is GOOD!! It will SELL!!

FACE value, ANU malik, did not recycled! It is not l;ike his REFUGEE, AKS, ASOKA, and FILHAAL>>BORDER, KAREEB

But is one of BETTER ONES!!

NOw with NOVEL pairing, good cast, good face value, good music, SRK portraying from DORKY GEEK, to KOOL DUDE, to POSH OFFICER..FILM LOOKS INTERESTING to me!!

MUSIC is better than KHNH, imho..

1. not recycled from other anu films.

2. does not sound like KKHH, K3G, DDLJ, MOHABTAEN, KHNH..etc etc..

BOTTOM LINE: Was Malik able to creat magic of R.D...???

answer is a BIG NOOOOOOOO!! not even 10% of it..

But in itself, it is a DECENT to GOOD, INTERESTING ALBUM..

MUST BUY for SRK fans!!

this movie is will be a big hit since everyone wants to see sharuk again after khnh
imo they should have tried to make kajol play shushmitas role
does anyone know if kajol quit for good or will she come back after her kid is a little older?

High expectations can at times lead to disappointment. However, there are exceptions to the rule like in the case of 'Main Hoon Na'.

The album has 8 tracks in all with two versions of the title song and a remixed version of the same.

The first song, the title song, is also the most heard. 'Main Hoon Na' is sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrics and the music are of a high standard. The whistling sound enhances the song. (Picturised on Shah Rukh, Zayed and Amrita Rao).

'Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha' once again features Shreya Ghoshal and Abhijeet. Abhijeet sings the song, as R.D. Burman would have wanted. Not in the same league as the first song but a nice cute duet none the less. (Picturised on Shah Rukh and Sushmita).

'Chale Jaise Hawaien Sanan Sanan' by K.K. and Vasundhara Das is a lively, rhythmic and youthful number with a bit of 'Pichak Dhum' and a bit of 'What's Up' from the background singers. (Picturised on Amrita Rao and Zayed Khan).

The remixed version of 'Main Hoon Na' by Ranjeet Barot has some 'Rap' thrown in and is enhanced by the contrasting background melody.

'Ye Fizaien' by K.K. and the ever dependable Alka Yagnik is a 'feel good' song. K.K. goes into the high octaves and the chorus lends good support in English. (Picturised on Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita, Zayed and Amrita Rao).

The sad version of 'Main Hoon Na' is the song of a defeated and dejected man and starts of as -

Khoya Hai Paake Jisne Pyar Main Hoon Na
Bechain Main Hoon Beqarar Main Hoon Na,
Koi To Ho Aisa Jisko Apna Kah Sakoon.
Koi To Ho Aisa Jiske Dil Mein Rah Sakoon,
Koi To Kehta Ek Baar Main Hoon Na

The song is well sung by Abhijeet though with a bit of faulty diction. Javed Akhtar's poetic lyrics are out of this world. (Picturised obviously on Shah Rukh Khan).

'Gori Gori Gori Gori' sung by K.K., Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan and Anu Malik in his inimitable style is the dance floor number with the guitar strumming the tune of the title track in the background, giving it a nice touch. (Picturised on Shah Rukh Khan and others).

The last number 'Tumse Milke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal Kya Kahein' is a vintage 'Qawali' number, sung by Sonu Nigam, Aftab Sabri and Hashim Sabri and opens with classic tabla beats. The opening couplet sets the tone for an interesting discussion about the legendary 'ISHQ'.

The Qawwali is a class act and Anu gives it a modern touch by adding words like 'Check That' and 'Dum Tara' in the background. (Picturised on Shah Rukh Khan, Zayed and others).

The album is a winner all the way and for those who found 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' good but too westernized, it's rare treat. This album includes a wide spectrum of musical talent as well as musical scores; there is something for every kind of music lover.

A MUST BUY EVEN FOR NON SHAH RUKH KHAN FANS.

well the overseas rights are with eros..so expect 2 disc single layer disc with extra cardboard cover for outside :laugh:

Yeah the qawwali song is really great even betten watching it on the promo :p
