Hey all!

I just picked up my copy of the film today from my local. The quality is awful, I mean Mohabbatein awful. It's definitely not progressive. I'm thinking it's interlaced (That's typical Bollywood DVD stuff isn't it? When the lines appear and it's all blurred?) As for the director's commentary, it's quite a joke considering it's intermittent and sounds pre-recorded. The menes are nice, they're in 16X9. It looks like they spent all the money from the movie on the box that it comes in. It's similar to the Chalte Chalte box only folds out 3 times instead of twice.

I'll try and get some screen shots up, I've never done it before but will give it a go.

Ravs.

Hi Sameer!

I've got the DVD, it's pretty rubbish as opposed to what I'd expected. The deleted scenes (of what I saw) are pointless and it's easy to see why they were cut out. I skimmed through the first few. The first is of Preity reading the newspaper to some old people who are racially dividing themselves. See what I mean??? It was easy to see why they went. It's quite a lame excuse for a DVD really. Bog standard YRF stuff. I've emailed some screenshots to Urbanlegend which should be up pretty soon because I didn't really know how to do it.

P.S. It has that pathetic and distracting logo in the corner of the screen that YRF put on Koi Mil Gaya. Looks like a permanent fixture on all future releases now...

I can't believe they mucked up this DVD as well. On top of that they charge a premium for an inferior product. I'll still buy it only b/c I want the movie, but they are forcing this tripe down our throats. :(

I didn't get a free DVD with mine, it's probably only available when you get from the net. I bought mine from my local DVD store. Also, the logo isn't on throughout the entire film. It just appears every now and again.

I didn't get a chance to watch the DVD properly. I saw parts and then jumped on the Zulm Forums to tell everyone about it! (Sad, but hey... that's who I am.)

IMO the Mohabbatein DVD by Yash Raj was pretty good. I wouldn't call it "aweful"!!!!

But i guess let the Yash Raj bashing begin!!! Even from people who haven't seen the DVD yet!!!!
