BIG UK HAAN... MAINE BHI PYAR KIYA PREMIERE
Star TV Announce Valentines Night Party :love:



The News Corporation-owned subsidiary and Asian entertainment channel, STAR Plus today announced that it shall be bringing three of Bollywood's hottest stars to the UK. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor will be arriving in the UK on Thursday 14th February 2002 for the launch of their new blockbuster movie 'Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya' (Yes, I Too Have Loved.)

The film will premiere at the Cineworld Multiplex Cinema at Wood Green on Valentines Night, followed by three public screenings on Friday 15th February, in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Feltham, which will be attended by the three stars, as well as the film's director, Dharmesh Darshan. The film will go on general release at Cineworld Multiplex Cinemas nation-wide from February 15th.

The channel has also signed an exclusive deal to broadcast of the incisive behind the scenes documentary, 'The Making of Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya'. The forty- minute programme follows the three stars and director Darshan as they create what is pitched to be one of the best offerings from the heart of the world's biggest film industry, Bollywood.

'Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya' sees the much talked about off screen romance between the young Abhishek Bachchan and the beautiful Karisma Kapoor hit the silver screen, in this emotional and romantic drama. The eternal love triangle that Bollywood hits are made of is a key part of the film's story.but who will finally win the hand of the fair maiden, is the question on everyone's lips.

STAR's Head of Marketing for the UK, Suruchi Sthalekar, said of the channel's involvement: "We are delighted to be able to join hands with the top directors, producers and of course stars from Bollywood to bring our UK audiences what they love. Please be advised that the UK Premiere will actually be at Cineworld Wood Green on Thursday 14th February. Despite playing previews of the film all day Thursday, the cast and director are due to arrive for a celebrity screening for around 7 for a 7.30. There will be additional screenings at 8pm and 9.25pm on the same day.

The cast and crew will be arriving at Cineworld Feltham Friday evening for a celebrity screening. Times are still tbc. (6pm onwards is expected.) Feltham will also be holding previews on Thursday Valentines Day.

Hi there. Some more info in. The screening will take place in Screen 2 and The Delux screen(3), around 8 pm I think. The after show pary will now take place at 'The Decorium'(Sorry if I've spelt it wrong), on Western Rd Wood Green. Hope You lot enjoy yourselves
