BTW I saw the movie KAKHA KAKHA. A great movie, with nice music and back ground scores. If the villian and hero was some macho guys it would have been better.

Go into the dvd player menu and activate the DTS bitstream.

Or your receiver can't decode DTS??

hope this helps!

Dude, it looks like you don't have a DTS decoder on your receiver. You need one to enjoy DTS sound. Getting a DVD player with DTS sign won't help. That just means it has a 'DTS out.' This is usually or always an optical cable connection which plugs into the 'DTS in' of your receiver.
After this is done, you switch and your receiver should have a display that tells you that you're hearing DTS sound.

They just completed doing very old NTR Classic Lakshmi Kataksham(Black and white movie) and also will be doing most(or all) of our new titles waiting to go into production soon. The DVD will be released sometime in Feb 2004 along with few other new titles.

Sunny audit indicated it as interlaced in one post and Progressive in a later post.

Can anyone confirm, if Kaaka Kaaka is Progressive or Interlaced DVD.

With progressive, I mean:
"No Combing" when playing using Power DVD in Force Weave mode
Or
It takles 24 steps forward per second.

With Interlaced, I mean:
"Combing" when playing using Power DVD in Force Weave mode
Or
It takles 30 steps forward per second.

Thanks.

Rana

iDreamDVD is a new venture started by couple of my friends who are crazy about bring quality DVDs to telugu movie fans. We are still in infancy (released only one DVD so far and have 6 in the making) and have nothing to do with the iDream you are talking about. You can check out idreamdvd.com where we sell all brands of Telugu DVDs only if the quality is decent enough to call DVD.

'Kaakha Kaakha' goes Global
-29.12.2003

'Kaaka Kaaka' was a massive hit in Tamil. Right now, the film is being remade in Hindi and Telugu. Soon, it will make its way to Hollywood!

Anbuchelvan IPS is a man with no family. But, soon, he falls in love with a woman and she reciprocates his feelings too. Meanwhile, the younger brother of an underworld don who was killed by him at an Encounter, swears revenge. Does Anbuchelvan vanquish his new enemy? What is the price he pays?

The film wants to go beyond Hindi and Telugu. Kalaipuli Dhanu and Goutham Menon have gone to Los Angeles regarding this and Dhanu has started a film production company there- 'Malibu Tiger Productions'.

Goutham Menon is making necessary modifications in his script to suit Hollywood- this time the villains are the Chechenyan rebels.

Since it's going to take time for the script to get approved, Goutham is right now busy with doing the remakes in Hindi and Telugu and also another film with Surya, named 'Mazhaikaalam'.

Getting into Bollywood itself is considered to be a big acheivement in Tamilnadu. The cine industry is looking at KAlaipuli Dhanu and Goutham with awe as they make their way into Hollywood.

Considering current events and Hollywood politics, I won't be surprised if they pressure Menon to change the villains to Muslims or French. :baaa:

I hope this never becomes some kind of B-movie.

You can't hear DTS through your TV. Like I said, DTS signal usually or always runs through a special cable(optical). You absolutely NEED a decoder on your receiver. It looks like your receiver only has a DD5.1 decoder, and NO DTS. So you may have to buy another receiver with a DTS decoder to get DTS sound.

Hope it helps!
