Avoid B4U and sony. The tossers are crooks to the core. Earlier this year after having B4U for a while I chose not to renew my subscription and phone B4U and told them so. surprise Surprise on the day the viewing was supposed to be scrambled it was still working. BHeing honest I phoned the buggers up. They claimed I had not phoned them to cancel (even though I had an itemised phone bill showing I had called them on the said date). They claimed I would have to pay for an extra years viewing. At this point I was well pissed off so told them to shove their viewing/subscription up Mr Lullas asshole as I was going to raise the issue with trading standards and ask my credit card company for a charge back. Then the call cantre lady changed her mind and said I could cancel but she would charge me for the days viewing.

Besides these problem the B4U channel was very boring and too many Z grade (yes you have heard of A nd B movies but these were really bad movies) movies were showing. Sony was a waste of time, they managed to repeat a drama serial in one year. No new dramas were shown. B4U music was also nthing special.

I find Zee more refreshing.

B4U isn't that half bad. They've showcased some really good films recently. Just earlier tonight, they were showing the dubbed version of Ratnam's Nayakan. They have also shown films like Hu Tu Tu & Vidhu Vinod Chopra's brilliant debut feature film "Sazaye Maut" within the last month. And I recall staying up late one night about a few weeks back, and B4U was showing a great Mehar Mittal comedy titled "Kudi Canada Di".

The only thing I like about Sony Television is there broadcast of the serial "Jassi Jesa Koi Nahie". This serial is pure jokes.

Speaking of Cable networks, has anyone heard of SSTV (Sur Sagar Television)?

If you have had it for a few years you soon get fed up with the real awful films they show. Yes they show the odd decent film but then carry on repeating it ever few weeks.

I am happy with Zee TV and Zee Cinema. They show a nice family type/social movie in the morning and I am happy with that. They also show some blockbuster movies and repeat them but then I have the option on Saturday nights to watch the film on Zee TV as well. Then there is also Alpha Punjabi for only £36 more.
