Nah, you want to see Jay Jay before those :)

I watched a few minutes of it at the theater and it didn't look very good. Madhavan looked like he gained a few pounds. The reviews I read of Jay Jay and E20U18 mention that they borrowed from the American film Serendipity.

At the moments Ratnam is busy with his new Tamil/Hindi film and then he will be shooting a new American film the whole of 2004. Until he is free we won't get him to supervise the telecine transfer of his film for the AyngaranDVD .

Rats. I was looking forward to good versions of his earlier films released by Pyramid on DVD. I refuse to rent them. Hopefully he can supervise one or two new transfers in between the current project and the '04 one.

Sunny, can you provide any info on how we can get Progressive DVDs done in India? I check with Prasad and mantra and it's not feasible for them anytime soon as their main source of income is by making telecines for TV viewers in India.

It is almost impossible to get most Telugu producers to agree to give us negatives outside of Prasad or Mantra Labs.

Guys
can anyone confirm that these dvds are really progressive.
Thirumalai is not. I have Boys, Jay Jay and Ottran but nothing says on the cover that it is.
I doubt that Ayngaran would omit to put that on the cover, knowing that it is somthing new in Indian dvd industry and thus adding product value...
