I found a company online called Elite Vision that has released 2 Tamil DVDs so far. Anyone know how the quality is?

I've never seen the music director's picture bigger than the actors' on a DVD cover :)

I watched there Karakattakaran DVD. The quality is really good. Picture is clear as they claim they are mastering form the original negative of the film. The audio track is DD 5.1 Enhanced. This movie has a menu selection called "Exclusive comedy", which plays the complete comedy scenes of the movie. Thats a good idea. (Many movies I got just for good Vivek comedies.).

I beleive this movie is one of the Illayaraja's master piece. It is good to see the MDs picture in the cover. Illayaraja deserves that. You can see Koundamani and senthil pictures in the back of the DVD cover... Other heros of this movie!!! There package is good like collector's serious. Expecting more good titles from them in the same high quality.

Purchased the Amaidhi Padai DVD from them. Great PQ. The movie is very good. Suppose to be one of the good movie of Sathya raj. The price of the dvd is only $16.99 and free shipping. :D

Yes. It is Anamorphic (16x9) and Cinemascope.

Mastered from Original Negative. Tele cine, Authoring all done by Prasad Lab.

Another good quality tamil dvd production company.... Elite vision.

DVD WHIZ, Yes I received the DVD. Their shipping is fast and free of charges. The quality is lot better than the Fricking ayngarans latest movies. I haven't got a chance to finish the movie, but I think movie is pretty decent.

I wish they make more movies. Fucking ayngaran. cheaters.

I haven't seen Karakattakaran in about 10 years. Isn't the plot sort of similar to Thillana Mohanambal?

I recently listened to the soundtrack after a long time, and it is a pretty good album.
