well actually u can make a non-anamorphic dvd into erannous widescreen on widescreen tvs if u zoom in..or watch it in panorama...some tvs automatically take black bars of..like mine...

and wat i meant was...about anamorphic dvds and wat not bieng stretched on 4:3 displays bcoz usually the default setting for dvd players is 16:9
