Recently, I 've watched Eros` Johnny Mera Naam. The print is excellent. Checked on the pc and surprised to learned it is progressive encoded.

I wondered who authored the dvd for Eros. Wish Eros can continue to use them.

Shuman u sure abt that ?.. I had rented that dvd from Desh Groceries a long time back.,.and the print was absymal... (except maybe for that song by Padma Khanna... Husn ke laakhon rang, kaun sa rang dekhoge :D )
How did you check it ?.. Forceweave ?.. Can you post some screenshots..
EROS and progressive = oil and water.. but please surprise us..by posting some screenshots !

it doesn't look like progressive the second time i played in the pc. the first time i watched it, i didn't notice the combing possibly because there wasn't much movements.

nevertheless, the print still stands out among the other eros dvds. fairly sharp with vibrant colors.

Then i think it must be on par with their other Navketan and FK international releases... i think the author was Dot Media.. but I am 100% sure that none of those dvds were ever progressive !

I picked the Indian EROS DVD yesterday -- it said "packed Dec 2008, Rs.99" but when I peeled this sticker off, I could see "packed 2006, Rs.250".

The DVD has lots of B4U ads -- so this must have been Eros-B4U abroad. Disc comes in keep case and is replicated at KRCD.

It's not progressive, but fairly neat IMO.

shemaroo, if really 157 minutes or 02:37:00, would be cut.

Did you get a chance to check the shemaroo dvd? Is the runtime really 157 minutes? Eros dvd, as already mentioned, is 174 minutes long.
