Rajesh Khanna in music video

Yesteryear actor Rajesh Khanna is to do a different role now. The veteran actor has agreed to do a music video that is to be directed by Ujjwal Chaterjee who recently gave us Escape From Taliban. The album by Inderjeet Dasgupta will have eight songs penned by Rabindrath Tagore. That is one of the most important reasons why Rajesh Khanna agreed to do the video. Rajesh Khanna said that he has been deeply influenced by the writing of Tagore. "Also Bengali's have played an important role in my life, be it Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Shakti Samanta or Kishore Kumar. I'm indebted to Bengali's eternally," he said. Rajesh Khanna is also happy that the music video is sans cheap vulgarity and sex shown in songs nowadays.

That is nice to know that he is doing music video i still think he is all time great actor when i watch his anand, aradhana, kati patang, amar pream etc he can still prove his talent if he is given a good role

Rajesh Khanna is not only one of the five most alltime popular stars of Indian cinema, he is also one of the really great actors. It is a pity that such a great actor became a victim of Bollywood politics and groupism. He definately has it in him to still do some memorable work if given the proper opportunity. One of the signs of a great actor is to be able to give good performances in bad films with mediocre/bad directors, if you study Mr. Khanna's carreer you find lots of such instances.

I did not mean to ridicule, KAKKA!! I very much appreciate a lot of his films..he was indeed a super star, like hema malini was!

I was using his own wordas, after AB took away stardom from him.. :baaa:

What you mentioned about Kaka I do second it I think he is at par with actors like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh
