What all will a father do for his son? Amitabh should realize his son is a lost case, specially after Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. The film had a 'First Day Opening (All India Average) 30 - 35% collection, which is not a reflection of the film but rather it's stars' popularity. If I was Jackie Shroff I would never have allowed my film to be used/abused like this by Amitabh.

If i can persuade a particular friend of mine, i might get a chance to go to the London Premiere of this movie.. but see if he takes me first... Anyway, the music to the film is excellent, and i seriously cannot wait for the movie to release.... hopefully some big international company will pick up the DVD rights to the movie, hopefully Metrodome or Channel 4 films... !!

Watch, BOLLYWOOD's FIRST FRENCH KISS on WEG DVD:

Boom: Kiss and tell
Is history repeating itself in Bollywood? Earlier films had a bold Devika Rani passionately giving a lip-to-lip kiss to her lover Himanshu Rai, notwithstanding the fact that they were passionately involved off screen. After that it was only recently that Bollywood witnessed a kiss. That was in the form of Khwaish where Malliaka Sherawat was seen kissing her costar Himanshu Malik. But if you thought that Khwaish was the final word in kisses, you are wrong. Come Boom and you will see an even more passionate. This time should audience will get a taste of a French kiss. It will feature Madhu Sapre and Jackie Shroff. In fact, the kiss is reported to be one of the highlights of the film. The other highlights of course, are hot Padma Lakshmi (Salman Rushdie's girlfriend), Katrina Kaif, Zeenat Aman and Bo Derek. Phew!

AMBITIOUS PLANS FOR BOOM!

By Taran Adarsh

Now for some exclusive info on the keenly anticipated BOOM, directed by
Kaizad Gustad.

The film will be released with approx. 180 to 200 prints in Overseas alone.
The breakdown: U.S.A. -- 65, U.K. -- 30 and Gulf -- 25/30 prints. "The
Hindi version of the film will be released in the first round and only
after gauging the response will the English version be released," divulges
Sanjay Jumani, the Overseas distributor of the film.

Incidentally, the length of the Hindi and English versions would be
different. The Hindi version would be lengthier than the English version.

Moreover, the film will be premiered on September 11 at Leicester Square,
London. FTV, which has been airing the promos of the film, will telecast
the premiere live. "We're also negotiating with Zee, though there is no
exclusive contract with anyone," Jumani states.

The distributor is more than confident of the film. Ask him about the USP
of BOOM and pat comes the reply, "It's totally different from K3G or
D.D.L.J. The vision of the director is different from that of Karan Johar
or Aditya Chopra. Kaizad has made a slick product that has his
individualistic stamp."

Jumani continues, "BOOM is akin to a roller coaster ride. The sound quality
is topnotch, the background score is very international, the cinematography
is simply awesome and the production values are unmatched in today's times.

"We've shot extensively on foreign soil, but not at those customary gardens
or streets. There're seaplanes, private aircrafts, plus we've shot at the
best hotel in the world. We haven't compromised at all. It's going to be a
novel experience for Hindi moviegoers."

I got a promo card for Boom when I went to see Boys, and it has a WEG logo and address on it. Expect the Boom to be a bust.

damn - oh shit...!! anyway im still keeping my fingers crossed... looks as though the soundtrack will make it mainstream over here in the UK... Rishi Rich and Jay Sean are doing tours up and down UK signing copys of the soundtrack and the single "Dance wit it - Tere Naal Nachna" With the amount of Airtime the the song is getting on radio stations, it does seem as though it will make it into the top 10.. and if it does, it will be more publicity for Boom... And me hopes.. someone half decent will pick up the home video rights for the movie for the UK... WEG dee aysee dee thaysee ...
