Lue, shame on you for buying a dvd released by EROS :D

Hope you repent for your mistake .. by downloading a nice XVid of this movie ( or if you are too lazy), buy a dupe for 1-2$ at most !

they shoulda tried harder to make it better :ffs:

"Try harder" and "better" are words Eros has never heard of.

"Sucks" and "dumbass" are part of their mission statement.

How to save your money :-

Rent an original DVD carrying any non BEI logo from yor Grocery Store wala..
Then make a nice copy of it , either on ur computer or rip burn it onto a DVD ±R / RW ... That way u save money !

Never patronize EROS dvds...
Lue I suppose you must be referring to the DEI-EROS dvds.. If thats the case, then I agree with you, else I disagree..

sknath yes i can make copies of dvd by buying a dvd copier....but then its not the same is it.....cannot call urself a dvd collector can we.......i dont like to promote piracy....eros dvds are alot better than they used to be....all they need to do is improve on the pic.....sound is much better nowadays.....

also if i copy dvds dont i lose the sound format (5.1) this happens to be the case with many of the new dvd recorders.....not much point is it then especially if u happen to have a kick ass receiver like i do!!!!!!!

sknath pls advise!!!!!

ok lets not get carried away now. Just because salman actually acted for the first time it doesn't mean he deserves a national award for it. :D

i saw thew movie last night & yes salman for the first time did give a decent performance. So did Bhumika, she acted great & suited the role. even the direction suprised me to some extent. looks like satish kaushik is learning from his mistakes. Overall a very good movie after a long time. definately one of the best this year so far.

Yo Ranj, not at all
You will still have the 5.1 audio with you. Audio wont change until you actually downsample/downmix the audio and do some wierd things with it.

EROS and improvements.. YOu muct be joking. If you call, downgrading from Progressive transfers (e.g. Taal, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega) to present day transfers.. then I must say thats "RANJ-style of improvements" :D (BTW where have you been lately.. didnt see you around ? )

Until EROS and the rest change their dvd encoding procedures.. pirating their wares is the best option. They dont need our hard earned money..and their DVDs should be pirated left-right !

If you use a DVD Stand-Alone recorder you will loose the 5.1 as it will downsample/downsize it. If you use a DVD Writer for a computer than as SKNath has said you will retain the 5.1 until you yourself downsample it for a reason (diskspace).
