This is song is getting a lot of airplay on the two Hip-Hop radio stations here in NYC. Who knew Jay-Z was anti-war? :oo:

I agree with Faddy. Jay Z's rapping along to the song isn't very good. The song by itself is alright.

I just heard the Jay-Z remix to 'Beware of the boys' and it sucks big time. It's a shame that this remix is getting more exposure to its mediocre original.

I just saw a video for the original version of Mundian To Bach Ke on MTV2. Was this made when the track was originally released? It looks like it was shot on miniDV because it had a cheap look to it, though the editing was good. I only saw some of it, but it featured a guy in a white wig and sunglasses being chased or something. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

When mundian to bach ke rahee was released there was initially no video for it... only recently was the video shot to promote the track into the mainstream.. thing is with bhangra artists in the Uk, they all started off with nothing and did it as a hobby playing at bhangra gigs as a pass time!! There was no money to make videos and shit!! Punjabi MC is one of the lucky ones who actually made somet out of it and has made good money out of it!!

just saw the video today for JOGI. definitely plays up all the indian stereotypes :)

anyways, one thing i shud mention: screw aishwariya, panjabi mc is doing ten times more in bringing attention to india in the west - only problem being he really isn't doing anything to improve the image!
