BTW!! Music is doing WELL, and From EROS SHOW REEL, FILM LOOKS GOOD!!

The film looks awful compared to the orignal Sethu, which was dark and violent in tone. I was looking forward to the Hindi version but when I saw the trailers I felt sick. How can a story such as this be so commercial in its look.

No doubt Tere Naam would cut out moments seen in Sethu like his beating on women, and rowdies eve-teasing on girls etc...

But I fear that the ending in the Hindi verison will lack the stronghold and controversy of the Tamil version, the reason why the film was a superhit.

I have seen Sethu and was shocked by that movie. Vikram was tremendous and I could not forget the movie for a while. It was very dark and ended very surprisingly. Having seen that, I cannot imagine Salman portraying the same character with the same depth. Also, the movie had a very South Indian feel to it with the way they showed the religious upbringing of Abitha (?). From the previews, Salman looks very funny with his weird wig. So, IMHO, I don't think this will be a big hit.

Salman's WIG is the the MOST CONTROVERSIAL thing in the film..

BUt I remember, when film was announced!! Sunny audit..commented..that SALMAN will be MOST SUITABLE for that role, and will PULL OUT easy!! :baaa: ??? :hmm:

I double CHECKED in TERE NAAM show reel, in DMH DVD by EROS..

MAHIMA is INDEED there as SP. Appearance in..O jaana!!Song, same as RANI was in MANN!!
