Comedian Johny Walker is dead

Mumbai: Noted comedian of yesteryears, Johny Walker, died here today after a prolonged illness, family sources said. He was 79.

Johny Walker worked in over 300 films including blockbusters like CID, Mr and Mrs 55, Chaudvi ka Chand, Pyasa, Chhoo Mantar, Chori Chori and Madhumati. His recent release was Kamal Hassan directed Chachi 420.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons. PTI

I especially adore his performance in Pyasaa amongst others. May his soul rest in peace.

BTW, for anyone interested, you should check out the interesting article from Filmfare and read what Dilip Kumar had to say in response to Kazi's death.
