I saw this before on TV in the UK. It was OK, about a bangladeshi family living in 70's & 80's North London (i think). :oo:

There are some funny moments here and Om Puri seems to play a similar character to his role in east is east, only less brutal.

I am kinda excited about this one... I saw the last one "The Jury" which was awesome, except for the ending....

watched this on Channel 4 when it was shown in the UK.. its ok not bad.. but the book is waaay better than the dramatisation!! theres one showing at the moment on BBC called Grease Monkeys about asian pimps and it is piss funny.. pity i aint seen it all!! :hmm:
