Ali posted this cover a while ago on the old forums. Here's the link to a slightly bigger version:
http://www.zulm.net....umber=3
But apparently, it's not the correct cover, it was only created as a promotional tool by cdguru.

There is a pirate of DDLJ circulating around Toronto, it has a black cover, with the YashRaj Logo on the top, and pic of Kajol and SRK on the front. Cover art is similar to Yash Raj's previous old releases like Joker etc...Looks authentic, but for sure is a pirate. I believe it is the same release done again by Prism who the previous pirate release.

Hello!

Thanks for your inputs on the Website selling the pirated DVDs of Yash Raj Films. Please try to return this fake product back to them, to discourage them from selling any such pirated items online. We'll also see what we can do from our end, to stop the sale of such pirated DVD's in the future. Note that we're fully against copyright violations and have strict and stringent processes in place to bring the defaulters to book. We look forward to the support of fans like you to help us curb movie piracy the world over. We'll appreciate if you can send us the names of the stores or other Websites you come across which sell or circulate pirated DVD's or VHS's, with the names of all the Yash Raj Films' titles they deal in. Please also mark a copy of your email to our UK Office, at the email address: mailto:ukoffice@yashrajfilms.com.

Please remember to buy online only from http://www.yashrajfilms.com for all the genuine YRF titles. You're welcome to select a wide variety of other titles available online. Come in... own your favourite movies and see them from the comfort of your home. Buy genuine and the best Hindi movie titles available online, from Yash Raj Films Home Entertainment. And do spread the word around your family and friends as well about buying online from http://www.yashrajfilms.com. It's your chance to re-live the magic of your favourite movies again... and again...

With regard to DVD release of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', note that to curb some piracy issues and due to additions of some other special features in this DVD in order to make it a special collectors item for you, we'll be making it a New Year Release in early 2002. We'll surely intimate you through email once the DDLJ DVD is available online on yashrajfilms.com.

We're making this particular DVD of DDLJ (which has become the longest running film of Indian cinema, having already crossed the 300 week mark after being launched in 1995) as a possession you'll really love to treasure and that's also one of the reason it's taking us time to put this special DVD together. It will be in a spectacular 2 DVD pack with animated menus (normal and widescreen) on an anamorphic widescreen presentation and 5.1 Dolby Digital soundtrack, with sub-titles in 7 languages (English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Malay, Hebrew & Japanese). It also has never-seen-before "deleted scenes" from the film that never made it to the theatres along with optional commentary by the director Aditya Chopra and Exclusive interviews of Uday Chopra in conversation with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Yash Chopra.

In addition, it also has: A behind-the-scenes look at the "Making of a Classic", "The 300 Weeks Celebration" special feature, "Filmfare Awards 1995" Highlights (where DDLJ won an unprecedented 10 popular awards) and much much more...

SPECIAL Limited Edition Audio CD:
Along with the first batch of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge DVD’s launched, you will get an Exclusive Audio CD of Yash Raj Films Love Songs presented by Yash Chopra. This exclusive CD will not be available, except with the DDLJ DVD. So watch out for the DVD release and this collector’s item, which you can treasure along with all the fond memories of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Thanks for your patience and we'll definately inform you once the DVD is released online. Come... Fall in LOVE with DDLJ... all over again!

Thanks for visiting the Yash Raj Films Website and we look forward to a long and an enduring relationship with you.

With Warm Regards,
Yash Raj Films Helpdesk.

Helpdesk - yeh right - you just got a reply from their over paid marketing department! Typical from YRF. I wonder if YRF people really believe the bullshit they send out to people

How about folks at YRF spanking themselves for putting out shitty, crappy DVD's of Madhumati,Chaduvin ka chand,Baharen phir bhi aayegi among others. Sounds like they are busy blowing hot air from their asses. Thats why it stinks so much.

Since DDLJ was originally released in the theaters only with Dolby SR sound, will the DVD have a true 5.1 Dolby Digital track or will it be one of them crappy mono in all 5 channels crap? Anyone have any idea?
