sknath, I know you like to trash most,(if not) all Yashraj Films DVD quality, I ask you or anyone here to do a comparison of the Milan DVD (if anyone has this Media Digital pirated DVD) vs. the Yashraj Films DVD in SQ/PQ.

DVD_C thats like asking me to Compare ... OBL vs SH :D

This DVD is interlaced...all the way (Yashraj version)..and The MD version... well once upon a time it wasnt pirated... But now it surely is as YRF have the rights for that film

Its a sad thing though.. YRF screws up their DVD authoring techniques... even though they have some reall gems in their vault. Lil wonder For once I will support Piracy of their DVDs.... Get hold of their cheap interlaced stuff wherever you can !

DVD_C How's the situation in TO..... Thanks to SARS.. I am not stepping into ya town ... heard that more ppl have been exposed to SARS....
Maybe you can take relief from this banner !

I'm assuming(Going by your response) that the PQ/SQ from both DVDs doesn't make a difference, in other words, there both trash. Right?

Well, to be honest, while I feel that this SARS thing is indeed dangerous, I don't let it bother me too much, because I also think that the Media is making too much out it, take note that only about 13 people have been affected by it ever since its discovery in Canada and secondly, I think those damn Chinese have the antidote to this problem, but just aren't saying anything :ffs:

YRF-Prasad Milan is Pseudo-Progressive. PQ is similar to low end DVDs from EROS. Shemaroo's recent Pseudo-prog DVDs are a lot better. Even Shemaroo's field averaged DVDs have a better PQ than YRF-Prasad Milan.

Few Media Digital titles were progressive. How is the PQ of Media Digital version?? Is it Progressive by any chance??

sknath did a mini-review (or just posted screen shots) for YRF-Prasad MILAN DVD late 2001.

that's not so bad...in singapore we have already 16 to 17 dead...

Speaking of SARS -- The World Health Organization has officially black listed Toronto as one city to avoid. This is certainly not good for our economy. :ffs:
