Has anyone seen the Videosound DVD of the movie Ghayal? Any comments/ screenshots much appreciated.

It's mentioned on Video Sound homepage, but I've never seen it on sale anywhere. Only version of Ghayal I've seen on DVD is the Time one previewed on zulm and Post Entertainment version;

This is one of the very few Video Sound dvds that I have liked. there is some colour bleeding at times but overall, it is a pretty good dvd. My recommendation is buy it.
After looking at the screen shots from Time DVD, I can definetely state that the Video Sound has a better picture and sharpness. Sorry, I do not know how to post the screen shots.

Is "Ghayal" (videosound) better than the 'Time Magnetics' one. I saw it at a store a few times and thought about buying it, but then backed off because its by 'videosound'. Please, if someone has the dvd or rented it, please tell me if its worth getting and if its any better than the one reviewed on zulm. And, please also comment on what type of media is it on, gold or silver? thanks

Video Sound have been releasing alot of older movies that were and still are excellent compared to todays junk (ek aur ek gyarah etc). Only problem is that alot are recorded from VHS and you can clearly tell they are because some DVDs while playing will have the odd line and tracking issue evident from VHS only :oo: Take a look at some screen shots of the Khel DVD and Tohfa DVD. My personal recommendation is to see if you can rent it first before buying and if it fits your idea of a DVD then buy it. I wasted my money twice on two good movies (imho) that have terrible DVDs! :bangbang:

thanx guys, i found the shots. It looks similar to the 'Time Magnetics' one. But maybe, this one is slightly better. And, legend, you're right man, i'm probably gonna rent it before buying.

Thanks to Arsh here are shots of the anammorphic PEI DVD of Ghayal - 2.30:1 anamorphic video - badly sourced (looks same as Video Sound DVD posted a while back - prob VHS sourced);

I finally picked up this Ghayal dvd by videosound today and it doesn't even play. I hope someone releases a decent dvd of this film, it deserves better.

theres a GVI version, which although not a milestone, is better than the vs and time dvds

cant find it right now to take SS
