All the guys who currently support Salman are surely cowards and with vested interests! Such as Sanjay Leel Bhansali (who has signed him for his next project) or Sunil Shetty who has invested in a project of Salman's.

C'mon, a guy calls you in the middle of the night, gives you and your father maan, behan ki gaalis, threatens to take your life and mind you he has already taken a life. On the other hand the guy at the receiving end has the balls to take him on and all the industry can advise him is DISCRETION !!! And never mind that it was Salman that wanted to take advantage by first leaking it to the press (question asked at the Coke conference of Vivek, insinuating cowardice on his part) and if Vivek chose to call the bluff, than killer Khan thinks he is the smiling Buddha !!!???? Wow.....chaaploosi ki bhi hadd hai !!!

The only men in the industry are Preity Zeinta and Vivek Oberoi, baaki sub na-mard !!!

remember the incident that triggerred it was the question asked of him by a scribe at the Coke conference....indicating someone had leaked what he wanted to keep private....someone was trying to take advantage/publicity.....no?

Those links just prove what I thought already, that bollywood is full of cowards! Look at the stuff Salman has done in the past and look at his reputation. How much forgivness can you give him and how much counselling would work? All these fools are just lining up to kiss his arse, maybe cos of his links with the underworld, is what they fear and they don't want to be a target...or maybe not. Do these people forget that he killed someone last year? They were not behind him then!

Suniel Shetty is more concerned with how the industry will be affected by this. So what if it's in a bad state, when someone with a bad rep who has links with the underworld calls you 41 times threatening to kill you, do you just ignore it or go tell his father?

Salman Khan has probably come to London to get help with his alcohol problem and to think out a strategy of how he's gonna get out of this one. I don't understand why Vivek would lie about this for publicity, especially since his promising forthcoming role in the Invaders, everything is going well for him.

"I initially decided to forget all about this incident, but when I got to know that his bodyguards were looking for me, I decided not to take it lying down. I've had enough of this brattish behaviour," Vivek continued.

This implies salam has been doing this for some time.

"He's done this with Abhishek Bachchan, with Subhash Ghai, with Rishi Kapoor's son and with Shah Rukh Khan lately. I really don't know why they kept quiet, but I don't see any reason why I should keep the matter concealed," Vivek thundered.

I think they keep quiet because they fear the underworld.

Can't believe the retarded industry would rally around this loser after all the crimes he has committed in the last ten years. Beating up women, abusing co-stars and directors, killing endangered species and running over innocent bystanders.
Oh yeah, Shetty and Bhansali, that's a sure sign of a "the best human being you've ever met". They're all retards, I tell you. What kind of image is projected by an industry that supports underworld monetary sponsorship and anti-social behaviour? No wonder the masses no longer look up to Bollywood stars.
For now, we otta boycott all future Bhansali and Shetty (though they're never that great to begin with) pictures along with those of the trouble-some Khan. And stick with first-day first viewings of Vivek's flicks (if they're worth it).
The fans are surely not in support of Salman! I'm shocked at dumb-ass Bollywood's reactions.

How can you be so surprised by their reaction? After all this is so very much like the normal nature of the stupid industry, which is to stand up for one of their own and the reason for which being that they all know that each one of them is a loser who made it only because of them standing up for each other.

Come on guys look at the industry record and you will see that the industry has always protected one of their own, even if they are rapists, wife beaters, women beaters, goondas, killers, drugists, in illegal possession of arms, or even if they have links with the mafia and/or terrorists.

So as far as the industry is concerned, Vivek has just broken the unwritten rule and therefore is going to be chastised for it, while Salman will go on to get even more films as a show of solidarity. What a bunch of hypocrites and losers.

Shame on you Bollywood, Shame on You.

-just because of past events, there isn't a 100% surerty that salman actually commited something wrong....that's equivalent to saying, once a chor, always a chor....

-secondly, what links to the underworld?? you're confusing salman with sanju baba!!

-there is a difference between what will most probably end up as homicide, and actual murder....

-he's in london to shoot for Baghban...catch up on your facts :p

-on the invaders, i can't remember the actual exact url, but i distinctly remember reading just 1-2 days ago, that the invaders is mired in controversy, and so chances are it'll never begin...

-he says it, because as reported on other sites, he says that salman has bugged aish before (duh!)...it's called a lovers' quarrel - why does vivek interfere!?! and more importanly, why did he wait TWO days before saying anything...

also, if vivek says he respects salim khan so much, he would've had the common sense to say something to him, not be all frank (and get great publicity) because of it!....

watch, in the long run, vivek will suffer for doing something so dumb....

Roland Joffe's return to India to make 'The Invaders' hasn't been a good omen. The film was announced about a year and half ago but has still not been able to take off. According to sources, producer Ajey Jhankar of Neelmudra Entertainment has been eagerly looking for financiers. Jhankar had announced recently that Mukta Arts and Dadasaheb Chitranagri would help him. The decision was taken when Govind Swarup was heading the Chitranagri. Since he had sanctioned about Rs one crore to 'The Invaders' without getting it cleared by the authorities, this doesn't stand any more.

Even about casting, the only actor they have signed is Vivek Oberoi though Joffe had earlier tried for almost a year to convince Aamir to do the role. Aishwarya Rai has only committed to Roland Joffe, who had approached her directly, and hasn't really signed the project as yet.

According to industry sources, "Roland Joffe has spent about Rs 3 crore from his own pocket for location hunting and research on the subject which will be returned to him once Jhankar gets his funds from the studio which has promised to fund the film", according to industry circles.

Despite all the negative signals, a source close to Joffe insisted that the project is very much on and that the studio has already sanctioned $ 25 million in the name of Joffe with about $ 45 million in all towards 'The Invaders'. The rest of the payments have been held back because of the threat of war with Iraq. The same will eventually be released. It is learnt that Jhankar will be going to America next month to speak to the studios and ask them to release the money so that he can return Joffe's money and get his project started. But until Joffe comes down to India and starts shooting, nothing can be sure. However, Ajey Jhankar insists that nothing is wrong with the project and he is sure of starting it in September 2003.
