So far, i came across a few EROS DVDS encoded in Prog Format...HDAPH, HDJPK, TAAL, BADSHAH, JOSH...

Rest..all REGRESSIVE..

Did I miss any thing? ??? :bash:

Lets Watch DEVDAS ENGLISH version...Ount(camel) kiss karwat bethega??

None of these is Progressive.

The ones Arsh mentioned as Progressive are from the time when DEI-EROS had split. Those early DVDs from EROS, are speculated to be DEI's work that EROS got hold of.

TAAL, EROS revised(2nd or 3rd time,) is Anamorphic and PROG....I have that DVD>>Lol..I wont call it STATE OF THE ART, but still lot better than their HEAVY WEIGHT RELEASE>>DEVDAS!

This kinda QUALITY(PQ) is called EROS version of PROG, not DEI version.. :bash:

It was terrible by the standards of those days when DEI authored DVDs were abundent. With DEI out of the picture and comparing modern day releases, same Taal DVD is a bliss in comparison. Yes, it is Progressive; but beware of faulty batches (even if coming from EROS) and pirates.

and i bought the 2 in 1 with taal in it only because i thought the pic quality was unwatchable. will have to find that progressive one asap.

I concur with hafner's review, but this version is LESSER EVIL, and Sound is PRETTY GOOD!!

I dont think, EROS will ever do it!!Again>>>even, if they did? would it make difference? I think not, !!

BTW! Have any one tried SHEMAROO TAAL< from India as part of GHAII CLASSICS?that might be the LEAST evil, with pseudo prog transfer...Sanjay from India! to cooment pls?

There were comparative shots of Mr. India, it did not have digital bitstream sound, only sound u get is through anologue channels!!

Huh? Isn't any soundtrack on DVD always going to be digital? The Mr. India soundtrack is probably MPEG audio.
