who ever released this dvd of A A L C also released Dilwale dulhaniya lejayenge . the sound is 2 channel mono but really good sound .i have both dvds the pictue PQ is far better than yashraj release. i bought from Vancouver (CANADA ) .

IMHO, Dudes, DDLJ pirate was no where on par of AALC...???
Sound was GOOD..k, I agree, Stereo/surround with GOOD SEPERATION, no surround activity!

Can u (rana) pls. comment on media, either it is silver/gold mix, kind?

I think it's Single Layer (I'll check and cofirm later). So it doesn't matter.
How do we identify if its a Gold or Silver media??

BTW Hardev, is DDLJ as good as AALC?? Pirate AALC and YRF DDLJ are both Progressive. Is Pirate DDLJ Progressive too??

Hardev, does the DDLJ pirate you are talking about say "widescreen" on the side of the cover? I remember seeing a few pirate discs with "widescreen" sideways on the cover in the early days of DVD. I believe DDLJ was one of them, and I also saw Mother India with this cover.

I found a PIRATED DTPH in my collection, i.e PROG, but nothing close to AALC!

On the top of the cover of D D L J it says
Limoted Edition High Quality Print.
Winner of 10 filmfare Awards
Including Best film
on the left side it has WIDESCREEN

It might be PROG, but my point is, even prog, DTPH pirate and my old DDLJ were miles behind AALC..pirate transfer! :baaa:

Yep it ROCKS! :cool: and answer to one of previous Querry..it is single layer, but apni gunahgar aankhon ne aisa single layer nazara pehle nahin dekha!!

I think it is a progressive. but i am not sure . I tried to make a VHS copy for some one . but i can,t i even tried to copy super VHS . but no vail . the picture fade away and turn into B/W. . The yash raj dvd has croped more than this one . you can see more view to top and bottom and side this(Pirate ) dvd

Hardev, which movie and which DVD version you are referring to??

Which version shows more pic and where??
