This ‘Plain-Jane’ had created a homely image and was noticed in the superhit comedy Avunu Valliddharu Isthapaddaru. Her latest film Kabbadi Kabbadi with Jagapathi Babu is also proving to be a hit. She is a sort of girl that you will take home to meet your parents.

Kalyani better known as Kaveri in Malayalam and Tamil was relegated to doing sister roles before director Vamsi took notice of her and cast her in his film. Her demure and innocent looks have attracted the audience of Andhra who finds her refreshing and homely.

Kalyani is now flooded with offers and will be seen in a crucial role with Venky in Vasantham. She has also bagged the role opposite Venu in Krishna Reddy’s next film, a remake of the Hollywood film My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
