This is sort of a continuation of the DDLJ thread here. Few people have raised concerns about YRF doing K3G. If Super Digital are used then it's most likely going to be another mega disappointment. You can be sure K3G DVD will include ample extras but then you're also assured the quality is doing to sux.

Might be an idea to start firing off those (polite & constructive) emails and letters to YRF and Karan Johar to say in light of the poor DDLJ and Mohabbatein DVDs to reconsider using Super Digital. Two persuading factors can be Lagaan from Colombia and Asoka from Metrodome (got my hopes pinned on this! ) – Asoka in particular is getting all marketing push that many high profile region 2 DVDs get – its being advertised on billboards, supermarkets, video shop chains etc. And with K3G being the biggest Indian blockbuster in recent times – anything less from YRF would be an injustice.

I agree we should all email YashRajFilms so that K3G ends up being an excellent DVD like it should be in the first place. Everyone should help out by emailing the proper Yash Raj Office depending on where you live Asia/Canada/Europe/UK/USA/etc.. If we don't contact them then we cannot complain if the K3G DVD is crap!!!

I just sent them my e-mail about this concern, but I think my e-mail will be neglected like most of my e-mails. I have asked them various times actually on a regular basis about getting a company like DEI to authorize there classics on DVD, but i never get any response. But when I do ask simple questions about DVD info. or DVD release dates, they reply within days.

I think the company is working under much inconsistencies

I rather liked the Mohabbatein DVD. The quality wasn't that good, but, to me, the features more than made up for it.

I guess if you want a "superbit" type dvd with exceptional quality, and no extras, then go ahead, but I'd rather go for the extra features.

Super Digital never writes back so don't waste your time trying to email them. contacting Karan johar is the best, if we can get a hold of his contact info.

"Now we have some more exclusive information for fans of the blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham about the DVD release of the film.

In a chat with Radio Sargam's journalist Robeel Haq during the weekend, Karan revealed that the much talked about scene in the film with Abhishek Bachchan will be added on the DVD so that the public can watch it for the very first time!

There are no release dates for the DVD yet, but it will be sometime this year and with the addition of this new scene, we think its going to be one of the most successful DVDs that Bollywood has ever witnessed, especially in the overseas market."
