personally speaking i think pakistan should meet india more often on neutral grounds it can't be good for cricket fans around the world to see these 2 top teams play each other just once everytime there's world cup !!!

it was the most exciting watchable match of the current world cup !!!

Just to concur with everyone, great win for India. We beat our biggest rivals, guaranteed ourselves a spot in the super six, will cary over a lot more points to the round, and probably knocked Pakistan out. Plus those claims about India struggling against the pace of Pakistani bowlers can be laid to rest (what a shallacking). And please don't give me the bs that Pakistan took money or some crap, cuz they would never do that against India. It's the one team they fight to beat, albeit in vain :D .

Let's hope India keeps its form, and we could be the team to provide Australia a challenge.

edit, Just adding:
One smart move by Ganguly was sending out Kaif when his wicket fell. Kaif turned out to be the perfect partner for the master blaster and even scored a fair amount on his own. That partnership was crucial, because we were looking pretty vulnerable at around 54/2 after Sourav's duck. And I have a feeling that we wouldn't have won comfortably if Mongia had come in as scheduled. He would have really slowed down the game, and Sachin would've probably gotten out trying to be overly agressive. It's about time they dropped Mongia for someone like Bangar; we could use a decent bowler too.

Anyway, great win for India, but they're gonna need Sourav to regain his form for the next round.

GO INDIA!!!

Well what does he expect, going to India to watch the game, where his team lost! He looks like he doesn't know what to do! That's a bad situation to be in! :D

A few Film stars went to show their support for India.

Faddy you should feel happy now... <s>England is "defeating" Australia :D (and you know what happens next) :D...</s>.. Australia gives ur team one final chance :) Go for it March 4 !

As for one match... I think the next time they will play, might be in the ICC knock out tournament ...2 years from now :) ... (at the very least) ! So till then you can lick ya wounds !

Possible scenarios for Pak to qualify.. They should overhaul England's NRR

Scenario 1 :- If Pak bats first...and scores x runs, and then dismiss Zim for y runs, (where y < x) then

(1143+x)/(299) - (1072+y)/295.4 > 0.821

Would be a scenario

Scenario 2 :- If Zim sets a target of x runs batting first, then Pak would have to overhaul that (x+1) runs in y overs... which is governed by the equation

(1143+(x+1))/(249+y) - (1072+x)/295.4 > 0.821

So Pak fans just see what equation governs you guys :)
