Sirf Tum/Mann and other combos from pakwebstore all have subtitles way out of sync with the actual video. In the case of Sirf Tum the subtitles from the preceding scene were turning up on the next scene. Lovely. By the way, the video quality of Sirf Tum was lower than well encoded VCD and SVCD (Mann on the same dvd was okayish) The subtitling problem doesn't occur on the single dvds that I have got from pakwebstore.

It Is Not only the 2in1 DVDs From Pakwebstore that have this problem, it is 2in1 DVDs in General. I Have Purchased Many From Local Retailers in Canada That Have the Same Problem.

All of the recent 2in1 DVDs produced recently are screwed up in terms of subtitles. Like I said in a previous post, the intial 2in1 were excellent but slowly as they gained customer confindence lowered their poduct but using cheap media and screwing the authoring of DVDs. Now is the time to stay away from these 2in1s...unless you dont need subtitles I guess :oo:

Like i recently posted earlier last week, i got plenty of discs from pakistan many of them which are 2in1s... the think with these discs are they can be tempremental indeed!! some work on one player and some dont play!! But again, you do only get what you pay (£1) for!! :)

man..why complain when the fault is all yours? what can you expect from pirate companies? if you are really so concerned then why aren't you buying original dvds?

Khiladi, you got buy the 'original' DVDs of Tum Bin, Nayak, and Dil Chahta Hai. Wait until they freeze, and then no-one will need to tell you why people are buying from pirate companies.

Khiladi,

The point of my post was that buying pirate could be bad, I wasn't endorsing it, and I know that its a case of buyer beware if you buy cheapo pirates. What I didn't realise was that when I bought 2 in 1's was that the subtitles were crocked because of dodgy encoding by amateurs, I thought I would bring this issue to the attention of others thereby saving them making a mistake.
