It will be even better if it turns out to be Pseudo-progressive like SSS & Mughl-e-azam. Only one problem; where do we find it.

Arsh sent these shots of the Shemaroo authored DVD of JJPK but was released under the IAVC label – quite but different to the official Shemarro DVD;

The point I wanted to make here:

Authored by SHEMAROO vs RELEASED by SHEMAROO, does not MEAN THE SAME!!

Arsh, your comment also answers sknath's question (which I tried to answer my way before) and your screen caps prove it. :

Quote (sknath @ Mar. 13 2003,16:43)
When Shemaroo authors DVDs like Karma, Hero etc, they are considered acceptable... but when they author dvds for EROS, they are deemed bad... anyone care to explain this anomaly ?

1)
You were the first one to praise Shemaroo DVDs.

2)
In general do Shemaroo DVDs have better PQ than EROS??
What's the consensus??
Many EROS DVDs are anamorphic and Shemaroo aren't.

3)
If we find Shemaroo DVDs in general are better than EROS, then the answer may be:

a) Source.

b) Do EROS DVDs authored by Shemaroo go through Shemaroo Cinetel mastering suite?? Or, may be Shemaroo just does the authoring from EROS supplied source. We have seen in many DVDs (not neccessarily EROS) where a junk VHS had been used to make DVD.

I think, I never mentioned it so far.

Shemaroo released DVD has good PQ, but the encoding is Field Averaged Interlaced.

It's not Pseudo-prog like Hero, Karma, SSS, Saudaagar, Tere Mere Sapne etc.

Rana

P.S.
Arsh, how long are the IAVC and Shemaroo versions??
