i believe there were no extras on the dvd, and it was also a cropped 1.85 transfer. Sound was good 5.1 though, with eng subs.

However the DVD is faulty (as its made by Video Sound). and even if you do find a working copy, it would stop working within 6 months.

I don't advocate piracy but you're much better buying the 2in1 DVD which comes with Tum Bin and Jeena Sirf Merre Liye (another problematic DVD). the copy i have is not detected by my toshiba player, but works perfect on my ps2. The rest of the people here say that it works on all of their players so you can be pretty sure that it'll work on your player. And unlike the original, it will probably play just as well a year from now.

The quality on both films are the same as their original versions, right down to the authentic 5.1 on Tum Bin, and the subs are included as well. I got the 2 in 1 for $16 cdn in Toronto. you can buy em online aswell.

Just be careful if you buy the original version though.

It is really sad that we have to refer people to a pirated copy of the movie versus the original through no fault of our own.
When are we going to get another company like DEI?

The DVD is horribly squashed when you view it in a regular P&S mode (I am assuming you have a simple interlaced TV). However if you change your DVD settings to indicate a 16:9 aspect ration you get a proper display of the picture (which is naturally cropped at the sides :( ). Check the review from the main page of zulm !

I totally agree with these views. You are most definately almost always better off buying the pirated version when it comes to any Video Sound release. I have been thru three copies of Tum Bin, the latest one did not even work the first time.

That is the best advice you will get when it comes to DVDs of VIdeo Sound, Tips & Soven (Dil Chahta Hai)

PS: If anyone here is wondering why is it that I continue to buy these DVDs inspite of them going bad. The fact is I run a DVD rental library and I refuse to keep pirated stuff in my library therefore I personally have no choice.
