 Post subject: EVP Saregama Vol. II

I checked the EVP disc Saregama Vol. 2, which has the songs from An Evening in Paris, Jai Santoshi Maa, Amar Prem, and Mera Gaon Mera Desh, and all are progressive. I checked about two songs from each counting how many steps it takes to get through one second, and it is 24. I haven't compared the quality of Amar Prem (the only disc I own of the films on the disc) to the movie disc yet, but I presume it is the same. Jai Santoshi Maa suffers slight softness and some graininess, but colors are mostly vibrant. Sound is 2.0 mono for all and is quite clear. But I don't think EVP released JSM on DVD, so how did they get to include the songs?

I have had this DVD for about 2 yrs now. Some screen shots were posted at one time. Yes it's all progressive. I'm not sure myself if JSM was ever released by EVP. May be it was.

Except for JSM, I have movie DVDs as well. Movie DVDs and the Song DVD have the same PQ and audio (i.e. same master and authoring; not copy)

One thing to notice is that Vol 1 or Vol 2 is different on the cover and the Disc. I identify it as movie songs contained in the disc.

The other EVP songs DVD I have been looking for is the one, which contains Dharamveer songs.
