BARGAIN ALERT!

£17.99 for the Trilogy here;

...probably a misprice, considering all other stores have it for around £40 :kungfu:

Ali

What do you mean by Region 0 (Europe) ?

Can these DVDs be played on a North American DVD player (like Apex) which supports NTSC/PAL playback ?

BTW..If i am not mistaken, CTHE had the VHS rights for these films... Is there any chance they would be producing the DVD also ?

If any one intrested, PATHER PANCHALI will be on TVO (French) near X-mas. Run time is 120 min aprox. It will be intresting to compare this professional TV print with DVD. If any one intrested, I will find and post the link.

Cheapest at the moment is;

http://www.bensonsdirect.co.uk/dvd/prod ... 075373.htm

.. I think these guys do worldwide shipping too. As for the release date - I think the 16 December was initially in doubt anyway - its looking more like end of January now according to most retailers.

Pick a different xmas present :p

Also more likely this will appear as R1 DVD sometime soon. NTSC VHS is already available for order on amazon.com – from Columbia/Tristar :oo:

And unfortunately, for all us R1 viewers, it still sits that way and still clueless as to when Sony/Columbia TriStar will make the Apu Trilogy DVD. Source of information
