I was told some 2 months back about it's being in the pipe line and is supposed to be an excellent (also progressive) transfer. Can't wait to get it in my collection.

I was just thinking about this film last week, that no body did a dvd yet!!lovely film and good music...how come rana ji, you knew and aap ne raaz rakha? ha ha

I thought I had mentioned this in one of my PMs. I didn't want to spread it in case it caused any troubles to it's release, as it happened in many cases where rights conflict. Anyway, it is one of my fav films and I am sure it got a decent transfer. At least, it is proudly claimed on its cover.

It's at IW for only $ 12.99 along with another SD pop music DVD which is also $ 12.99.

I don't have its CD for sure. May be Vinyl, but those I haven't dug out for over 10 yrs now, like everybody else.

More than songs it was the colorful song-dance picturizations. One of the songs that I remember was Sa Re Ga Ma Pa -----.

In those days I overheard someone saying I have to go see it first day first show; it has Shshi Kapoor and Hema Malini. That's how popular these stars were at that time.

BTW, I don't think it was a 1960 release. More like mid or late 60s.

Too bad, it's customs notice. Luckily it is only $ 8.51 for 4 discs, one of which is Angoor. It'll be avail for pick up not before tomorrow noon.
