Arsh,
Edited my post. As the songs of Taal on the Eros songs DVD do look tall, my misspelling does not ruin much.
:D

Thanks Arsh for the clarification.

Rana and Arsh,
I think we should start a new thread with the list of progressive titles and update the thread whenever we found new ones.

BMCM that I have is dual layer, done by Media Dim. (if I remember correctly) and is progressive. PQ is excellent. Did never check if it has subtitles. Most likely, it has subtitles. Audio lacks something; is not as dynamic as on CD. As mentioned elsewhere, the picture is stretched vertically (on purpose) as is typical of many VS DVDs. I will check it tonite.

Ganti, I had been thinking about a new thread where only the names of Progressive/ Interlaced (minimal comments) DVDs should be mentioned. In the meanwhile, I have sorted out some 250 of my DVDs (mostly prog); Prog/ Pseudo-prog/ Interlaced identified. Will start this thread soon if you haven't done so already.

Ranaji,
It will be good if you start the new thread with your list

For that I need to compose a semi-decent intro and also have to see the effect of how it appears when converted from EXCEL to Zulm forum. Also, the list is in my home computer where I don't have internet. Will copy on a floppy tonite and may be tomorrow I might post it.

In the meanwhile, some more possibly prog DVDs. I got these from checking SD's "1 2 Ka Four" Song compilation DVD. Of the 40 songs (12 Films) 26 (7 Films) are Progressive. I assume, the Film DVDs too must have been prog if the songs are prog.

Progressive:
1 2 Ka Four
Officer
Champion
Ghaath
Farz
Pehla Pehlaa Pyar
Raja Ji

Interlaced:
Hero # 1
Thanedaar
Himmat
Jamaai Raja
Qahar

BTW, the interlaced items are really strange. Freeze frames shake like crazy. I can't speculate why??

Rana

P.S.
Ganti, you and I both have that VS 6 Pack Song DVDs of which the first three are by Super Digital. I remember JUDWAA songs are Prog and all others in that disc were interlaced. There may be more progressive songs in the other 2 SD DVDs.

That's surprising.
"1 2 Ka Four Song Compilation" definitely has progressive songs from "1 2 Ka Four movie"

May be not.
The Song Compilation could have been a remastered DVD as the audio is stated to be "Remastered". May be the whole Song DVD had all remastered Film clips??

May be the DVD turns interlaced with the insertion of subtitles or if replicated incorrectly.

Rana,
I never bothered to check the 6-pack song DVDs in forceweave. I will also check tonight to see whether I can find some more jewels.
