I thought this might be of some interest to some people.......

Just got this weeks copy of Eastern Eye, and there is a small article in it about where the stars stay in Manhattan, and there is a bit about Karan Johar's next movie. Acccording to the paper, SRK, Karan Johar, Yash Johar and about 50 other people will be staying at the Radisson Lexington hotel.

According to the paper, in the movie, Shah Rukh 'plays a character who was working hard to lift a girl out of her depression without letting her know he himself was dying of cancer'.

So another film to look forward to then :baaa: :ffs: :stupid: :bangbang:

This prompts me to ask -- has there ever been a Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's "Ithayaathey Thirudaathey" AKA "Gitanjali" in Telugu? It's about a man who's dying of cancer, who falls in love with this girl who doesn't know he's dying... You don't think this could be the remake, do you? (In IT, though, she isn't depressed -- turns out she's actually dying herself!)

Yeah it was remade in Hindi..with Aditya Pancholi and Rukhsaar.. Yaad Rakhegi Yeh Duniya was the name of the film... but nope the story proposed by Karan Johar bears no resemblance with Geetanjali
