i saw (all pirates)

mujsey dostey karoge (by spark £6)
legend of bhagat singht £6
sharaarat
om jai jugdish

and most other dvds - get this 3 dvds for £15!

As i went into the shop the guy was puting dvd covers into cases for chor machey shor the cover was completely different to the video sounds one that is shown on zulm, it was a spark dvd. The price of the pirate was £10 without asking he said MDK was £10 for the fake or £20 for the original, yet he swore the fake was exactly the same copy (he didnt have a player to test)

anyone seen cheaper pirate dvds then this? 3 for £15 tempted me but i didnt bite, although £5 for the 2 disc fake of Devdas i really had to resist! :stupid:

that is about average price in the market nowadays... pirated indian DVDs are making it big now.. bigger than DVD-silvers... and to tell u the truth these guys are really replicating the originals onto better quality media.. so no jerking or DVD rot problems!! I got a couple but dont see the point of posting screen shots as theyre all the same as the origingal!!

Exactly the same? Anamorphic and all?

kinda strange they can make such good dvd copies (i havent watched one though), yet the dvd printed coveres look so rubbish. :oo:

yaar faddy if they are exactly the same thats cool,
but tell us who they are released by so I know which companies to look out for and put some covers up so i can compare to what i saw yesterday

The only movies i have seen that are different to the originals are the CT versions of MK and Lagaan.. and even then the same menu system is used.. the only difference is that the extras are stripped out and the video is non anarmophic..!! But movies released by DEI and YRF are exactly the same just the extras taken out on some of them like MYKS....!! I have quite a few of these ditto releases now and i personally think theyre worth it... Look at the mohabbatain i have got.. it doesnt suffer from any of that freezing shit that used to happen with it.. similarly dil chahta hai.. it actually plays after chapter 11... who cares if the covers are crap!! :)

i agree the covers are shit.......

i saw merey yaar ke shaadi hai and it had the same ditto cover (bad quality though) as the original, but the Mujsey dosti cover was completely different.....and was released by spark! I didnt see a yrj copy for that one. Im guessing your saying if it looks like a YRF fake of a YRF film the quality is fine, but if it is YRF film under some other label then it's anyones guess haina?

the screen shots you showed im guessing the covers look like bad quality originals, not some completely different cover with a different brand name too?

Man!!! I dont believe these deals LOLS!
Long ago! I saw Mohabtaen, Disc one replicated without, box and cover selling for $5 only!Excatly same replicated YRF disc one!!
Time to think for YRF, the way they had been going down the drain with thier dvd quality lately!! :ffs: :bangbang: :stupid: :baaa:

has anyone seen the mdk pirate by spark yet?awaaz?is it the same as the original?anamorphic and all?

i saw the DVD for sale of MDK by spark, it had a completely different cover, ie not the sofa or the 3 people pic used on the real one, instead a close up pic of their faces.....it was selling for £6 and was dolby 5.1 according to the cover the shop didn't have a dvd player for me to test it, and i didnt buy cos i want the original :baaa:

one shop offered me for £10 an exact copy of MDK which had the original cover and hence looked liked a yrf film

are the pirates anamorphic and do they feature REAL 5.1 sound???
